Beautiful flat, thoughtful hosts, great location. You couldn’t ask for a better experience. We stayed at Michela & Vittorio’s flat for six nights in September, and would recommend it to anyone without any hesitation. The flat is gorgeous. Newly refurbished, super comfortable and finished to a *very* high standard. Michela & Vittorio left lots of amenities and little touches that just made our stay so comfortable – everything from shower gel to hair dryers in the bathrooms, to good washing up liquid and washing powder. There was even an umbrella, in case it rained. There is also a lift, if you or anyone you are travelling with have mobility issues (or just very heavy luggage). Michela & Vittorio were exceptional hosts: communicative, friendly and so thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble or too onerous. We knew exactly what was expected of us, when and how. But much more than that, they were generous with their time and local knowledge, which ensured we had the best trip. They even helped us make restaurant and travel bookings. They are wonderful hosts, and will ensure you have a great stay. Hot tip: the little black folder contains their personal restaurant & cafe recommendations in and out of the neighbourhood – these are gold! Finally, the location is great: It’s a two minute walk to the metro line, which takes you straight into town, and about a fifteen minute walk from the Colosseum and Forum. It also means you’re away from the tourist centres, so you’ve got great neighbourhood restaurants/cafes/bars/etc. And even though it’s very central, it’s a very quiet apartment (testament to the high standard of refurbishment). We had the most wonderful stay, and would recommend Michela & Vittorio’s apartment to anyone visiting Rome without a moment’s hesitation.
